Al discusses a common question and misconception we run into regarding the types of people we build for, and the homes they live in. One of the most common responses to our portfolios is, “Gosh, what kind of houses must these people live in? Are they mansions?” My personal favorite was, “Does Kid Rock live in Ortonville now??” But, ultimately, we think most people would be surprised by the houses where we build. They are, for the most part, not extravagant. They’re not mansions, and they’re definitely not Kid Rock.
