The fire bowl was added, not by the homeowner but by us. With this, with the genre, with the feel and with the copper cladding that we did, we just decided that it would be worth, us investing the money in a fire bowl for the homeowner. They had no idea they were getting it. We did it secretively. We brought all the plumbing up and built this whole pedestal for it to sit on. Then once we got it to that point, we brought the fire bowl up and turned it on for them. It was really, kind of a cool moment of wow.
Just another one of the features, but because it works so well in the genre of everything else, it was a no brainer. Like this needs to be here and we need to let it patina up, instead of polishing it and keeping it light and waxing it. Instead, we want it to get that very coppery green patina because that brings age and that brings that steampunk look, that Victorian feeling. That’s how the evolution of the fire bowl and the net result, I think, it’s stunning. Both during the day and at night. It’s really cool, water falling and blurping up in front of it. It just creates a whole other, very cool feel.
