Plymouth Vinyl LIner Pool
The homeowner of this custom vinyl liner pool in Canton, MI was looking for a uniquely themed area for their backyard swimming pool. Before the pool was started, the back yard was relatively unused. With grade issues there wasn’t much entertaining going on. The pool guy designed a multi-level back yard with stairs, multiple retaining walls that were finished in a Southwestern style using a meld of concrete, wood, glass, and colored bead accents. The pool area features seating areas on three levels, plus a swim up tiki bar with poured concrete countertops.
Some of the accents on this pool include the cayman tile/ reef liner, exclusively Pentair equipment, an outdoor natural gas firepit, colored/stamped concrete patio, poured concrete steps, boulder retaining wall, steel wall/artistically covered retaining wall, tumbled bluestone coping, accent boulders artistically crafted from concrete, and outdoor tiki bar with custom countertops, cabinets, and lighting. One of the fun accents that visitors to this custom backyard swimming pool notice is the tiffany style lampshade that allows for ambient pool side lighting. The tiki bar is thatched with outdoor thatching to withstand the elements, and accents in the wall include ironworks and stained glass window panes. The wagon wheel accent next to the tiki bar sports a spillover fountain for a fun splash while enjoying the swim up bar.
