The homeowner of this incredible custom pool design was looking for a backyard environment that was perfect for entertaining large groups of people. The pool was designed in the rear yard to be an extension of the finished walk-out basement and entertainment area for the homeowner. The pool itself, which features tumbled bluestone coping and a large water volume, sits next to a raised spillover spa. For evening entertaining, the custom hand-carved tree trunk fire pit provides a great place to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. The poured concrete counter-top is attached to the house and serves as a great way to bring the two spaces together in both function and aesthetics.
